I've been horribly ill and the girls were school-less and lesson-less for nearly two full work weeks. While I had plans to change the bin themes for Bubs for July, I will instead keep up with the beach theme for all of July so we can get a good grasp on visiting and learning about the beach.
I've had plans to start First Grade in July, since Calvert introduces Social Studies to the curriculum. Since we are a HUGE Independence Day/patriotic family, all of July will be based around American history to celebrate the birth of our country. Babe is pretty excited.
So yes, today was the official first day of First Grade.
Before I go on...
I will only update the blog weekly from here on out. I will write over the weekend to cover what we did the previous week, using subjects as the guide (as opposed to writing about each day).
I think I will miss blogging daily, but I vow to read more, clean more, and be in bed at a more reasonable time.
To not leave this post completely photo-less, I walked into work this morning and as Babe was showing me her omgverygross loose tooth, it fell out!
First day of first grade and she lost her second tooth! Go Babe!
