KINDERGARTEN EVALUATION DAY!!!

Yep, that's right! Today was Babe's Evaluation Day to see if she passes Kindergarten. So we headed out to a local library to meet the evaluator, introduced Babe and said evaluator, and played the waiting game for the next hour and a half.

Bubs, Z, and I did puzzles, read books, and played games while Babe's parents waited patiently to see what was going to happen to next.

And were we in for a surprise.

Without going into too much detail, not only did Babe pass Kindergarten, she tested at mid- to high-SECOND GRADE level for every subject!!!!!!!!!

Her lowest score was a "just entering second grade" level for general knowledge (science, health, and social studies/current events).

Her highest score was a "just ENDING SECOND GRADE" level for READING COMPREHENSION!!!

We were flabbergasted. We couldn't believe it. I mean, I expected her to test high. But not third grade high! I mean, that's high!

The evaluator recommended Babe be tested for a gifted program.

She also commented on how happy Babe was. She commented on how much fun Babe seemed to be having in her lessons and said we had a good thing going.

We left feeling very good and accomplished. What a day! Babe was pretty proud of herself too! She knew she did good. :)

And with that, the week was OVER.

Next week are Babe's final four days of Kindergarten. :)
