Today's festivities were marred by allergies and colds and sickness, so we didn't do too much to celebrate the holiday, however there was a field trip thrown in with an "H is for Heart" craft afterwards.
We started off the morning with decorating cupcakes. And who did we decorate the cupcakes for? Take a look at the pictures below!
Yep. We went back to the women's nursing home to share some Valentine love. Babe handed each of them their own homemade Valentine card, then read them "Who Will Be My Valentine This Year?" The ladies got a big kick out of that book. We spent about 45 minutes there visiting and reading, then we headed home for one last craft before everyone, myself included, took a nap.
Bubs impressed me with her gluing skills as she carefully outlined her letter H in glue to add foam hearts to it!
I hope everyone had a great holiday! Back to our regularly scheduled schooling tomorrow, if everyone is back to being healthy again!
